The Everett Street Guesthouse has been a peaceful urban oasis and alternative to high priced hotels or sterile motels in Portland, Oregon since 2005.
In January of 2016, the rooms in the inn closed, but the separate studio cottage is available as well as a newly refurbished one bedroom lower level apartment in the main house. Located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of on-street parking, the apartment and cottage are walking distance to NE 28th Ave.'s "restaurant row", as well as movie theater, public transportation, and Laurelhurst Park. The guesthouse is only minutes to the Pearl District and downtown Portland attractions.
Both the studio cottage and apartment have their own entrance, bathroom, washer/dryer, large shared deck, private garden patio (cottage only), heated floors (cottage only), bbq, and kitchenette. Included in your stay is free wifi, shampoo, body soap, conditioner, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, flat screen t.v. Both accommodations are smoke free and pet free. There are 2 bicycles that can be rented for $10.00/day per person with helmet and locks. Occasional spontaneous happy hour on the back deck during summer months.
Click here for an overview of the neighborhood location and what it has to offer. I have a discount with Enterprise car rentals: use this discount number XZ46SB1. It is less expensive to rent at the Enterprise three blocks from the guesthouse on NE Sandy Blvd. than at the airport.
